Gloss black on chalk if you’re going black, otherwise platinum satin. My last two cars have had satin black wheels and personally getting tired of/with the blacked out wheel craze. Satin platinum will do the best job of hiding brake dust too.

Really beautiful finish, but to my eye at their most awesome on a dark color, or even white, Find it a bit clashy on chalk or a sliver...again, just how I see them.
This is my first 991, so I decided to be bold. I went with Lava Orange with glass top, black interior, black exhaust, gloss black wheels and black calibers. I do love the chalk with the burg/black interior. Good choice.
Excellent choice!! I just got one with Platinum satin wheels, but otherwise very similar.
I would go satin black personally, but then I am biased!
I do like gloss black too but I find they are like interior gloss black trim and can get scratched and marked up too easily!
Ha...definitely biased! Looks great...serious wheels for a serious sporty coupe, not a froufrou cab like mine.
Seriously, your pic is really helpful...appreciate you posting. I'm going back and forth on the side skirts and your car tells me I don't want them...I like that clean line between the wheels.
Question...I noticed you kept the silver PORSCHE on the back and matched it up with the bright tail pipes, which breaks up the black/grey expanse somewhat. You happy with that choice, would you do same again?

No problem!
So, the Porsche lettering I left silver as when it is in black I feel it gets lost in the dark background and you can't see the letters.
The tailpipes are in fact black, but they are a shiny black which is just catching the very white light in the detailer's venue. They will also be spray painting the 911 Carrera 4S badge in stain black too so I can post a pic when I pic the car up in a day or two.

Question having never seen the 992 in person...do those engine louvers have a chrome/silver edge on them, or is that shine in your last pic just a glossy black finish?
Good call on getting the Carrera badge painted black...on the other hand, to my eye, your car looked pretty good without the badge. I think I'm going naked.
