The Mojave interior looks so much better than i expected. I had a similar combo in my Macan GTS. For a "free" interior, i think it's one of the most over looked option. Kept the cost of my 992 much lower than most.

I have a 992 Targa coming in November and decided on Aventurine. Having trouble with interior. Considering Truffle, Agave or black. With truffle, do I go black roof or brown? Black for the other two colors options for sure.

Hey man,

I went for the Aventurine Green with Chalk stitching and brown Alcantara roof : it's an awesome color scheme !!! I understood the Alcantara roof liner option was abolished and that's really a petty IMO. Just one suggestion: I also took the leather sunvisors but that was a total waste of money as -for legal reasons- they do print an ugly airbag warning on the leather !!

Sorry what I meant by roof, I meant the retractable roof on the targa.

The configurator wasn't working properly yesterday, so I was just able to configure an Aventurine/Truffle/brown top car. If you decide on the Truffle interior, you should definitely go with the brown top.

I noticed it was down yesterday as well. Thats what I was thinking; brown roof. I was initially considering night blue on blue but went to see the Aventurine this weekend and its stunning. Agave interior a bit much??

How different is the Sport-Tex roof? And I assume the Sport-Tex will be truffle brown or brown, but there isn't an option to select its color. Is it matched?

The race-tex headliner is literally the same look & feel as the alcantara that preceded it. Go sit in the new Taycan & you'll see.

I like having some contrast between the exterior and interior, so I wouldn't spec Aventurine with Agave. I think it would be too much green. The brown top and interior would go together nicely and give you some contrast. My 991 Cab was GT silver with a Bordeaux/black interior and dark red top, and the matching interior and top looked great.

I had the bordeaux/black on my 991.2 that was black. Great combo. Love the red roof. Could always go silver this time!

Your choice looks great. I have ordered 992 Targa 4S in Aventurine green but struggling to choose an interior color. Dilemma is between Truffle Brown, Black or Creon ..
Just wondered if you are completely happy with your choice or whether Truffle brown may be a bit to dark for Targa?

I chose Aventurine with Black/Iceland Green interior with interior inserts in exterior color and 930 leather package on my GTS that is in V090 status. Before I locked it down in my mind, I was thinking Grey/Chalk (Crayon) but I'm not fond of Grey in the interior. The OP's brown with wood inlays looks spectacular and you won't see many 911's with the wood inserts!

Great thread. I just ordered an AG targa with the truffle brown interior. I went back and forth on exterior / interior, but in the end I think the AG/Truffle is a fantastic and very classy combo. The only piece I am a bit on the fence about is the targa top color, I do currently have it spec'd as brown which I think compliments the AG nicely.
