For all you Nubbin’ lovers, here’s a chance to own one before we get the cars.... eBay never ceases to amaze...

Wow...I surprised Porsche didn't design a electric pdk shifter of us. The nubbin is all electric unit....

Electric pdk shifter would have fooled me and I would have enjoyed it. Lol.

How did this come on ebay, is mindblowing!!!!

Excellent find

Ebay posting shows it is used product. Lol, people are just ordering the car, and the part is already on ebay. This is just wild.

What poor new 992 got its nubbin pulled out. Maybe that special owner got fed up by looking at it; ripped out of the console in a fit of rage ----- and then decided to recoup repair bills - lets sell it on ebay. Someone will surely buy it

What bothers me more than the nubbin is the rear light strip. My guess is that Porsche will change the nubbin and rear light strip for 992.2. The front with sport design and side exteriors look great to me.

Have to disagree about the headlights - I think they look fabulous.

I hope it gets a little bigger and it regains shifting. I use "the stick" to shift in my 991 and it's a nice option to have in addition to the steering wheels paddles.

Glad you like them! To each is their own they say. https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cul...a-porsche-996/

But more importantly, it’s a 911 and probably drives great!

It's really strange how they can sell the a "used" 992 shifter like that... It's not like it fell off a truck... The seller has other, similarily peculiar items for sale, like BMW starter button and BMW shifters. They also have almost 100% positive reviews. Scrap yard?

...soon enough, the nubbin will be in the "where are they now" bin of the car parts shop. If Porsche doesn't do away with it in the 992.2, I would be stunned if they did not replace the nubbin with something better for the 99-whatever comes next.

It's from Lithuania. Some of these countries are big OEM part producers. Some chump working at a factory or associated with it. These countries are also big theft rings that steal cars through Europe and strip them down.

Who would want to buy this thing?? For what?

It just an electronic switch. Pretty sad for a 911.

So many gratuitous ridges and crannies for dirt... this thing must have been designed with input from the detailers' union.

Keeping a 992 interior looking good is going to be a full-time job.

Someone answer me. Dying to know.

How do all sorts of these random parts end up for sales in Lithuania and Poland? I consistently see brand new wheels, PCCB, and body parts for sale in these countries on ebay. They look like fresh take offs. Chop shop? Porsche certified parts dismantler?

Perhaps somebody in Stuttgart decided to pay homage to Mr. Vin Scully - in the opinion of many, the greatest sports broadcaster of all time. Vin started calling Dodger games (in Brooklyn) in 1950, some 14 years before the 911 was first released. Like the 911, he is a true legend. I would imagine that the cigarettes and beer were advertising props but who knows?
