We have a picture of the rear of the car and it's entirely different than the base car, save for the lights. Different decklid, fixed wing, entirely different bumper design with higher plate location, different diffuser and different exhaust. Other than that, exactly the same...

Not sure why he has such a strong anti 991 bias which has been prevalent since I was a lurker on this forum.. His avatar makes it more confusing. Also doesnt like the 991 pdk "***** ***" shifter... his words

Anyway, it seems the 991 hate spills into his deep liking of the 992. To the point where he shills for the car on every aspect. Now hes saying we're all delusional for liking the 992 Turbo so much over the regular car which Porsche has totally kicked to the curb.

Now the real question.. Is "the clam" going to be the new official nickname for the 992? Seems best fitting just like the 996 is referred to as "fried egg".

How did ANYONE at Porsche think that was a good looking rear end?! It boggles my mind. I just can't wrap my head around how that design made it to the final version of the car.

I, for one, happen to like the look of the both the front and back of the 992. Looking forward to placing my order when the manuals are announced.

Love this. I want one. Base Turbo is fine by me. Of course, I expect the price to go up. Again.

Porsche made standard S ugly and boring and Turbo far more attractive and sexy so some S purchasers will bite and get Turbo.

Those modifications are cheap in cost but you'll pay 30 to 40k more plus more powerful engine.

I like the 992 sport design rear better than the standard, but the "sport design" package is another $5k. The quad pipes look better than the PSE, IMHO.

Rumor was the Turbo could have a debut at Geneva, but that opening was today and I assume that is not happening.

If in fact this is the 992 Turbo, I think it looks way better than either the C2S or C4S. That said, my expectation is the Turbo will cost around $185k and the Turbo S will be around $210k. At those prices I’m moving on.
