To my eye, I like that the chrome tips break up all that black plastic and provides a different focal point.

Along the same line, I was originally selecting the black Porsche logo between the tail lights.
I'm now leaning towards leaving the logo chrome.

Looks awesome! Congrats! Love carmine red. Great choice. And the rims with the red calipers against the red body look super sharp. With all that red goodness you need some red accents in the interior IMHO. Maybe red seatbelts or red instruments. I have Bose audio and haven’t heard Burmester personally, but folks that have commment that the increase isn’t that significant for the money.

I would get the film with opticoat. The car will shine and look new plus helps a bit with defecting matter hitting the hood. only a wash

Congrats! Seems like Porsche is back on track with the 992... I haven't seen so many positive reviews for a car in a long while.

Thanks to all of you who responded,
very helpful.

I'm still not sure about the chrome exhaust tips, that was my first choice from day one, but looking at that black rear lower part, may be the chrome tips could bring some confusing. Anyway, now , for me, it's 70% for chrome , 30% for black.

Another question regarding the wheels:

I placed the order with matte black painted wheels. Thinking that with no PCCB brake dust it's less visible on matte black.

May be with these rims glossy black could be better. What do you think?

I'm thinking of adding 360* parking camera, instead of just reversing camera.

Some doubts also regarding the LED ( witch i have in the list) vs LED Matrix.

Always Satin to hide brake dust. If you are thinking of keeping the car for awhile, I would get the LED Matrix. They are a proactive forward thinking new design and also a better resale value for the future. That alone would make me buy the car used. A lot of times we look at value, as a better option list than another.

I'd go with satin, skip the matrix LEDs since LEDs are standard, and get the 360 degree camera.

Thinking to my configuration a couple hours a day, every day, I believe I'll add the follow:

Here's the original www.porsche-code.com/PLYPC7N0

To add:

* Wheel painted in glossy black instead of matte black.
* Adaptive cruise control
* Delivery in Leipzig ( free of US customers, 1.323,70 € for italians customers)

In my first post I said i need to take out some items for add some new, to not increase the price.
So i'll take out the follow:

* Nothing.. ( i simply can't do it !!! )

I'd like, but ...

* LED Matrix
* Lane Change Assist
* Surround View
* PDCC

Thanks for all your replies!

In the next few days i need to close the order.

This is the original order www.porsche-code.com/PLYPC7N0

I removed Protection film, Front Axle Lift,

I changed exhaust from black to chrome ( still not sure but it's an easy mod to do later) , wheels from matte black to glossy black, sunroof from glass to metal , light from LED to LED Matrix

I added Adaptive cruise, PDCC, Carmine Red interiors ( looks cool ! ) , Carmine red key, Delivery in Leipzig.

So this could be the new configuration http://www.porsche-code.com/PLM61T47

Price increased from 159.354,61 € to 164.503,01 with a full 40.000€ in optionals ( it's almost 1/3 of the price, it sound a bit too much )

Performance wise i miss PCCB

I could add black PCCB, removing sunroof, PDCC, Carmine Red interiors, Carmine red key, and the price increase is about 4000€

or

I could NOT add black PCCB, but stillremoving sunroof, PDCC, Carmine Red interiors, Carmine red key, and the price decrease is about 6000€

cool!

oh yeah!

Sometime crazy projects come to my mind, like going plain black

love the black pccb

vintage style

Black and PCCB ( deleting roof, pdcc, etc ) is 165.601,01 €

Comments welcome

My delivery shifted from June, to mid mid-late July. The order isn't closed yet. ( if it ok that for July delivery, Italy, the order is still open at the beginning of june?)

Anyway I'm changing my mind about the windows trim and the retro look.

I'm now more for a GTSish look without crome/aluminum parts (and black PCCB) .

What do you think?

The spec with the chrome trim and tips looks fantastic, that's the route I will be going, very classy. I have always had GTS's and now GT3 so going more classic next time around.

Saying that, they don't make a bad looking car, all combinations look great.
