I did it!
Just after about 30 years from my first and only Porsche car, a 20 years old 1966 912, that i sold few years later, i was finally able, yesterday, to sign for a new 992 C2S
https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...be1b9ca37e.jpg It should be here in June. Here's the code. www.porsche-code.com/PLYPC7N0 https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...291db79bd3.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...a68eca18c4.jpg I like a vintage look, and i do not want a Carrera S with GTS ish look. So i choose chrome parts, sport tex interiors and the rims that reminds the Fuchs Design wheels. I have one month to make some change so any suggestions is welcome, I do not want to increase the price, so, please, any item added should be balanced with and item off. Performance wise i miss the PDCC i'm thinking of adding it instead the protection film. Look wise, i'm not sure about the black exaust tips, or the chrome tip. Looking forward for your comments. Thanks |
Beautiful 912! Congrats on the 992.
|
if i was doing bright work around the glass i would also do the exhaust tips as well, and no one know what the paint protection will be from the factory you'd be better off skipping and having done after delivery
|
Get the film! You will regret it later if you don’t! |
Congrats!!!!!
|
Congratulations!
I would skip the film and get something that you couldn't add after; PDCC (although I would not add this myself) or better seats, or the 360 degree cameras perhaps. Would also skip the Burmester. Otherwise the car looks very well specced indeed! |
Looks great. You won't miss PCDD. Personally, I trade that for the feel of leather and the stitching that comes with it. Get the chrome exhaust trim to match the window trim. Perfection.
|
Congrats. Beautiful.
|
Awesome wheels and color. I'd do the chrome tips with that window trim. PDCC is awesome, but not a necessity. I'd spend money on PCCB before PDCC, though I'd probably do both, myself.
|
You are aware that the 992 will be a bit faster than the 912? :)
I love the color! Enjoy your new ride. I hope you keep this one for a long time. |

Thanks Black exhaust tips look better IMO. Love the wheel choice. Fuchs FTW. Congrats. |
congrats, beautiful spec
|
great spec... I wouldn't hate seeing red seatbelts on it and agree with the others that the chrome exhaust tips would be better.... can't wait to see people start taking delivery of these.
|
Keep the black tips if you ask me! Even with the silver window trim. Chrome tips make the whole plastic thing too eye catchy. |
Great build, should be stunning when finally arrives.
I have been struggling with wheel and color choice on my build. Started with Gentian, then switched to GT Silver since this will be my daily driver and I enjoyed how relatively clean that color stayed on my 2016 RS. More options are not always helpful! |
