Does Porsche always invite a lot of car journalists to review their car for example , in Spain for 992 and Greece for cayenne ?

i do not recall other brands like amg or bmw inviting soo many , Porsche marketing arm seems to be doing a good job in getting a lot of reviews out and that too soon after car was revealed .

Seems larger than normal but for a new generation of 911 it makes sense. BMW did something similar with new M5

BMW and Mercedes do it too. BMW also keeps the event open and sells it as a driving event for enthusiasts to experience the car. I did this with the new M5 and got to drive it in Spain before it was released in the USA. Was a fantastic experience. They don't close off the roads for the driving experience like they may do for the journalists. The one I went to you arrive on Friday, there is a dinner presentation in the evening. Nice hotel. Then the next day half the day is road driving, the other half track driving, and then you leave after 4pm. Was fantastic. I wish Porsche did something similar for the 992 - I would buy that experience.

Seemed pretty normal to me—probably analogous to the 991 launch in Santa Barbara. "New 911" has always been pull out all the stops.

In October, I stayed at a hotel in Jackson Hole where Rolls Royce did the Cullinan launch for journalists. They told us they run batches of about 8 journalists through every 3 days for weeks at a time. Rolls was there for 6-8 weeks but some of that was prep and wrap up time.

My wife talked to a woman at breakfast one day who turned out to be the lead engineer and project manager on the Cullinan...very cool.
