My SA told me yes. And one of the many video reviews shows the driver pulling out the cup holder to leave a cubby hole and then putting it back. I ordered the smokers option (free!) but will probably never use it or the cup holder.

Yes, and put the cup holder in the glove compartment for when you might need it.

Here's a fairly in depth walk through. Not Doug Demuro level of detail but close.

Key pic from the above video (around 15:30) showing the cupholder cubby hole for those that hate the giant cupholder:

Sort of seems unfinished this way though. Still preferable to giant cup holder

Porsche should offer a lid for the cubby like the 991 smokers option- just so it can be opened or closed when desired. A snap in would be perfect.

If not, you could get one 3d printed.

Exactly, just need some to scan the area and upload. Could even laminate the top with CF.

Yes - one reviewer had his huge walkie-talkie sitting in the cubby hole.

Interesting at the 2:30 mark of Janko's video when he appears to fire up the 991.2 first, then 992. The 991.2 surprisingly sounds much louder at startup.

Very nice review. No speculation, solidly explained opinions, excellent comparative pics.
