Default 992 Aerokit

Looks amazing. Like the 991.1 aerokit but better.

Any details on this? Availability or pricing? Is the wing still actuated?

No this is a fixed wing by the looks of it.

Don't know price. On 991.1 this aerokit package was $5900. On 992 anyone's guess?

More pictures posted.

Got to say the gold wheels look great.

Imagine this aerokit and the gold wheels on Carmine Red.

I think its hilarious that the GT car folks want cars without the wing, ei Touring. Yet base 991 folks want to add a wing on the car.

Now that's the maw I wanted to see all along on the 992, far more personality than the rather blank, black square on the standard model.

It looks very like the front end of the 981 Cayman, which I think still looks amazing....;]

Sport design gives you this front and rear. Aero adds that wing, I guess.

I don't need the wing, but would love to have that gorgeous third brake light! I might go for the wing just to get of the anomaly.

I do like how the Aero wing gets rid of the new 2-bar third brake light in the regular 992 rear lid.

But I prefer the lower set 991.1 fixed Aero wing. At least that one you could see past in your rear view mirror.

.... and I am a lover of whale tails, & GT wings ('91 964 Turbo & 997.2 GT3). But at least with my 964 Turbo I can see past the whale tail.

They need to lower this one about 10 cm (because lets face it, most folks buying a 992 C2 or C4 are not needing that much downforce anyway).

Having said that,... I would still check the box & order it. I love rear wings that much.

That wing totally fixes the trunk left open look or the open clam shell of the regular 992.

I am considering the Aerokit for my new 992 cabriolet,

is it silly or non-sense to equip the big wing on a cabriolet, both esthetically and functionally?

Is it even a option for the Cab yet?
..... I went through the Configurator and could not get it to show up / display (I've never bought new, so this would be 1st time,... and yet I've never been able to get the Configurator to show it).

So I still have not seen the Aero on Cab yet. If you have pics, please post.

Personally I think any wing in the back helps the cabrio hump. I love the aero kit on the 991 series cab's (these were prob Turbo's)

my opinion is, again still,... that the 992 aero wing is a tad high,... but reserve my opinion on the new 992 cabrio till I can see it in person, or from many angles.
