Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
I had natural/club leather all over the 997 C2S interior. It was nice to look at, but felt delicate and required some extra care. Given the use case, figured standard interior would be fine. I go back and forth though, the MRM on the T is $140k. I’m not leasing, but it’s a good indicator of when you’ve overbuilt with the options. I like music too much to swap the stereo for full leather.

My Arctic Grey Carrera completed production on November 21st and arrived at the port of entry to the UK on the 23rd. It is currently awaiting transport to my dealer. I received the first production pic via the app today.

WOW! Love that interior. And I love that you sprayed the color out. I guess you're in the paint business.
TYD on PC: "Car has entered production". VIN, but no pictures.
TYD on iphone APP: "Car is complete and awaiting to be loaded on ship". No VIN or pictures.
TYD on iphone via browser: "Car is awaiting production"
THREE different timeframes depending on how I access TYD.
Yes, I understand its more of a marketing ploy, but it would be nice if it were at least in sync.
No, I have not called/emailed my dealer to bug them.
But, kinda odd at least that there are literally three different stages under my profile, pending on how I access TYD.

I sprayed a whole bunch of speed shapes out this summer when spec'ing another car and couldn't decide on a colour for it. I ended up sticking a lot of them up on my garage wall and it makes for a talking point as it's like a mini dealership display.

I'll post them up when it lands. The interior is the Heritage Design option in Classic Cognac. I've yet to see an Arctic Grey car in person so am keeping everything crossed it looks good. I did a couple of speed shape spray outs of the colour to keep me going whilst waiting for the car to be built and it's a colour that changes dramatically depending upon the ambient lighting levels. It can go from looking quite a light grey (as it does in the factory photo) to looking fairly dark (my speed shape photo).
I also have an Arctic Grey incoming, but I chose the chalk/slate grey interior.
Added sport design package instead of the full Aero Kit.

Received my allocation for a C2S last week. Very exciting. Have been waiting almost a year. Previous car was a 997.2 manual Turbo.
My build locks Dec 16th, but my SA mentioned that Porsche Canada had instructed them to finalize the build asap. Basically saying it is locked. Mentioned they are trying to avoid delays. Has anyone heard of this?
Anyways, it is a January 06/22 production and shows Halifax port entry January 27th.
This seems optimistic?

Not sure if you are dealing with Edmonton or Calgary, but I got a call on 11/17 indicating that I got an allocation for a C4S (I was 4th on the list and had been waiting since May 2022) and had heard as of 6 weeks ago, that there had been no movement. I had to let them know if it was a yay or nay within 24 hours and had to lock down the build by 11/28., so I'm assuming someone bailed last minute. Needless to say I went for it. It's apparently a January build with ultimate possession in late March/early April.

Hi. This was the same thing with me. It was from Porsche Edmonton. Did you get yours from Calgary?
Seems like the dealers got the allocations on the same days.
It was definitely not a canceled order. They also told me I had to lock the build asap.
But if you look at the actual V dates, I saw that the lock date was mid December.

Mine was from Edmonton as well. I ended up going with them after no follow up from Calgary after meeting with the sales mgr as he was to give me a trade value for my 2017 C4S. Edmonton's number was fair given the market and I also grabbed an 18 Cayenne GTS at the same time as I had just sold my X5. I was told initially that it would be at least until late summer so I was pleasantly surprised to get the call this early
Mine is a C2S, so they definitely received a few allocations. I got the call on the same day.
January build as well.

Who knows....I know what TYD said. It said I went into production on 11/21 with a completion date of 11/28, but I think that is total and complete BS. I think it is a panacea to placate those of us who have been coerced into putting a deposit down for a vehicle. We just follow along like mice because some orchestrated Gantt Chart that is fully automated and programmed to appease us says we are "In Production". Sorry to vent, but this is ridiculous.
