Well I got a pleasant surprise this week not knowing where my Targa was. I never got anything past Production Completed. Turns out it landed at the Dealer last Friday and I took delivery on Wednesday! Really pleased with the build and thank you to everyone her who contributed and continue to support. I can also say it was worth the wait!

Last Saturday. Just arrived the night before

Sounds like your car is on Siem Plato with mine. It is currently scheduled to arrive at Houston on 11/16. That said, when it sailed the boat was due to arrive in Halifax today, however, while it is basically there now two of the three info sites I'm looking at are now indicating arrival on 11/8. Maybe it's going to have to wait a couple of daya to get a berth. I very much hope not!

Not unusual for ships to sit off the coast over the weekend, even if a spot is open.

Is it only me or could others be feeling the same ? My car is less then a month out . I traded in my 2015 911 the same day I got an allocation for a S model . At the time I had no idea that allocations were hard to come by , just stupid luck . I also never thought that I would own a new Porsche . Although I had owned many Porsche’s in my past starting with a
1959 that I paid a whopping $3500 for . I worked 2 jobs to save for it . Porsches have come and gone , but one thing they had in common they have all brought a ear to ear smile to my face . The way I am feeling this morning is my face hurts from smiling and the anticipation is only going to get worse . Hopefully when I see it being offload at the dealer that I don’t embarrass myself and have moist eyes . Brought a smile to my face when I saw that someone drove to Benicia to confirm their ship was in , more then once I thought of booking passage on Glovis Chorus

From my perspective the last 7.5 months have been a tough wait but the anticipation/frustration now is reaching fever pitch even though I have less weeks to wait than the number of months I've already waited 😆 I'm not a patient man and I'm tremendously excited for the new car. I'm sure delivery day, when it finally arrives, will be a very fun day.

I have a build sheet with a V250 of 1/28/22 and a V900 date of 4/22/22. When should I expect a "Track Your Dream" invite? Thanks!

The TYD saga continues...

So, my SA stated today that they have not even received a notice that my car even arrived at port, but TYD states it's at their dealership? I believe the SA, but where is my car then, lol....

Mediterranean Highway looks like it already left Baltimore, right??? Heading to Jacksonville now?

What are others seeing/ hearing from the MH port from their SAs?

Just a day or two after the allocation is secured, as long as your SA got your order and commission number linked correctly to your email address that you use on your MyPorsche account.

Yes, the MH left Baltimore yesterday. Has your dealership actually shared with you a tracking sheet or screenshot from the PSVM system? If not, I’d be demanding one right now. This is really quite bizarre. By now PSVM should definitely be showing actual dates for Emden departure and BAL arrival. They aren’t “notified” of port arrival- they need to look. They will be notified by the port when your car is on a truck and on its way to them.

"We didn’t get a notice that it left the port, let alone arrived at port."

This is the SA quote...what do I know, lol???

Once the car is at port, it is really out of the hands of Porsche, both Corporate and the dealer.

It all depends on port processing and the trucking companies schedule to get to the dealer.

Good points. I don't think the SA is keeping anything from me, TYD is a neat idea, but has caused me more stress than pleasure over the haul due to all the changes and inaccurate info. Hope porsche does a better job in the future with this for others.

just curious, what prevented you from taking delivery friday or saturday? My car is waiting to be offloaded at the port and I can’t imagine waiting a single day longer than necessary

Beautiful car MG997! Very much like my first 911, which I bought new back in 1987 - red Targa with Fuchs wheels.

My car was offloaded from the RCC Europe yesterday in San Diego, but TYD shows it still on the ship and well on its way to Benecia lol. Anyone else offloaded in San Diego from the RCC Europe who has seen any updates to TYD yet? Curious how long it’ll take to get to my dealer in LA.
