My SA informed me yesterday that Porsche has put a order hold on all Extended Leather Dash & Door Panels options.

I tried to add this to my build as my "Fixed Date" was coming up shortly and the system kicked my order back to "V100" saying "Feasibility Check Failed". Investigation showed that the Extended Leather options will not be available until 2nd quarter 2024 and my build was supposed to begin in February 2024. So we removed the Extended Leather options and instead of going back to the original build dates, everything is pushed back 3 to 4 weeks. Guess I lost my spot in the line....?

Anyway with my build pushed back to March 2024, I'm thinking of asking if it can be delayed until the Extended Leather options are available.

Just thought it would be a good idea to share my experience so far. Order officially went in back around 6/6/23 though I've been waiting over a year at this point.

I was originally told I would have it by this last august; things kept moving back. It changed from a My23 to My24.
I finally got my schedule last week thankfully retaining PTS. (Meissen Blue)
Change freeze: 2/8
Manuf started: 2/22
Left port: 4/9/24
With a supposed arrival date of 5/20..

Definitely frustrated, but I'm just glad to finally have a clear view of when the hell they're getting around to it

This is pretty much the same story for the entire automotive industry in the US. I waited over a year for my new Ford pickup. In the end, I still had to drop a few options from my build just to get it that soon. I ordered my first 992 at the end of 2019 prior to COVID, that one also took a year to deliver. Hopefully things will get back to a more reasonable schedule once the dust finally settles from the pandemic and its effects.

Got the Porsche connect email, but not stage 10 yet. Pretty sure this means the car is close to loading on a transporter. I’m going a little crazy this final stretch😵‍💫

According to TYD, my T arrived at the German port on 12/2/23 and will leave the German port on 12/14/23. There is no date listed for arrival at the local entry port (U.S.).
