Porsche (like every other car manufacturers) are keeping their budgets frozen until the world decides if it’s time for the EV or not. Meanwhile they keep recycle their old **** to keep us “warm”... This SD package represents the fact that they don’t have any new idea to put and, for the first time, “stock” parts are better than those “optionals”.

****!!

I like the base body design better. Sport Design rear end looks... busy.

The base just needs the 2 columns lateral to the ACC section painted in a body colour as we saw on some of the prototypes. Any photoshopper's able to illustrate?

That piece is not separate and is part of the entire surrounding black plastic piece on either side. Would require masking and would probably look quite messy. If you look closely at the spy shots, they used vinyl colored strips and it looked like @$$.

Personally I would go sport design front bumper and leave the stock rear based on pics alone. But I’m also not in the market for one of these cars so it’s probably best to not listen to anything I have to say lol...

Maybe the bumperettes will be easy to remove and third parties can sell bumper plugs and the like. I'm also certain more than a few folks will do DIY Plasti Dip or more permanent paints to cover some or all of the black bits.

The front looks fantastic. The rear remains polarizing.

Something I noticed in the 3D model when you add PASM, the front lip section changes a bit. Adds a little more contour in the lower corners and a black plastic trim piece below it.

Hah. Amazing how owning a 991.1 is like the gift that keeps on giving.

They literally copied the 991.1 front and just angularized it, throwing in some 981 and 718 for good measure. Or, in other words, basically a complete likeness to the 991 Turbo fronts. You see it from the front quarter view and it's virtually the same car with very minor tweaks (a great thing for both the 992 and 991, to be fair).

Looks much better than the standard "blank space horizontal Beetle" look though. At the same time, it makes the newer 911 look less "992" and more 991.

I like the higher location of the rear license plate mount, it makes the rear end look less fat... but it's lipstick on a pig.
