Default No Heads Up Display on 992 ?!

Does anyone know when they will add HUD to 992? I think it's crazy you can get HUD in a KIA, but not in a 2020 Porsche 911.

I think it's too early to tell. It always takes Porsche at least six months to offer and load all options into the configurator for new models. But I'm with you . . . HUD is an incredible safety feature that allows drivers to keep their eyes on the road. I've had it in my BMWs for 15 years now. Hopefully Porsche will trickle the tech down to the 911.

I hope so! Same here, have it my X5 and I can't imagine life without it... Could a deal breaker for me on a $150K car. I will have to hold out for it.

Agreed. I'll trade "wet mode" for a HUD all day and any day

All the hype from Porsche about this now being a more "techy" 911 but not including HUD is crazy to me.

Think I read somewhere the angle of the windshield made it prohibitive??

Don't think you'll ever see this from Porsche

It's an option on the Panamera and Cayenne. I assume the only prohibiting factor on the two door cars is a philosophical one.

Actually they do, which is what happens just before you hit the guardrail after you turn off traction control.

There was no problem "packaging" a hybrid drive that doesn't even exist yet, though.

Probably about time to change my .sig line. Porsche's priorities are just plain screwy these days.
