Does anyone know any details on the factory applied paint protection offered on the 992? The configurator says it's on the front end. I'm wondering if that includes the hood and both front fenders of just the bumper. For the price, it must include the whole hood and fenders. You'd think they'd offer it on the new hips too; they seem pretty vulnerable. If you order the car with the front end protection, you'll still have to take it to an independent installer to have the hips covered. I'm also curious as to the brand. Is it Xpel or did Porsche formulate their own material?
