Yes, I know there is a function behind, which (hopefully) will be as effective as its 997 and 991 counterparts. I was referring to the design of the tips that was discussed above. Just knowing the tips are fake makes me care less about the look. As an example, I might at first have considered the PSE on my 997S perhaps estetically sub-optimal, ( Oo oO ) but knowing it's how PSE looks made it beautiful in my eyes. With 992 fake tips, where the magic happens behind the bumper and tips, the tips are just a design element, nothing more, nothing less. They could have made it the other way round - quad for PSE and ovals for std, (which wouldn't have been possible with 997 PSE) and that is what bugs me a little. That's all.

Good point. On the other hand it will make modifying the looks easier. Want PSE with quad tips? No problem

I was hoping it read more green in person. Those wheels are the best though.

I feel the same way. Prefer quad pipes.

Can anyone find a good actual image of the Carrera Classic 20/21 wheels? I want to see how they actually look before ordering.

Thart is not Aventurine green. That car is silver. The green is actually green colored.

You are wrong, 100% aventurine green. I took this shot and confirmed with Porsche execs at the show. Keep in mind this is under heavy artificial lighting. Color looks much darker in person.
