Ordered, http://www.porsche-code.com/PLX6ZTZ0 .

May delivery, although there appears a lot of uncertainty around this.

Good to be getting back into a 911 after 12 years.

My dealer in Northern California is saying June 2019 for deliveries. They are accepting orders with refundable deposit now.

Does anyone know when the dealer can actually place an order in the US? January 2019?
No sense give them an interest free loan for longer than needed.

Has anyone in the U.S. actually placed an order with a confirmed delivery date? How much refundable deposit are dealers asking for?

I don't have a delivery date, but one $500 deposit put me on the list for a manual C2S coupe and a manual Targa.

SF Bay Area $1K - $5k refundable deposits. Don't seem to be very many deposits made around here.

Cool! So Porsche is doing their ‚Buy one - get one for free‘ offer again?

I realised that I need the Sport Design package both front and back which took a bit of thinking but I just can´t get over the PSE pipes so I think I will have to cancel the PSE and go with original. Not long ago I would probably say that someone who spec'ed their new Porsche without PSE is an idiot but now I´m doing it myself...

This is where I´m at now

I would stick with the PSE. I happen to like the 2 pipes, but even if you like the 4 pipes better, how often are you looking at them? Won't you spend more time listening to the car than looking at the back end? Regardless of what you decide, your car looks great.

Thanks. I have PSE in my GT3 T but I can´t say I hold it as a very important feature but then again, the car is super loud anyway... Although it may be different with 992 with particulate filter.

For me though, I´m afraid it will bother me every time I walk up to the car and see the pipes that I think is ugly... First world problems

Isn't that the truth. Are you keeping your GT3T?
