I like the rear of the 992. It's well contoured and the overall body shape is more "coke-bottle-like" than previous generations (save for 993), in my opinion. the rear wing is nicer. the center high-mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) is a nice new change, too. the rear light bar is nice. Everyone has an opinion and esthetics of a 911 draw them out. If you don't like it now, give it time. If you don't like it later, then don't buy it. But be prepared to see the rear end -- it will be faster than the previous generations.

OP: Nope.

The 992 rear (if this is it) looks fantastic. The front looks even better. Hood lines are 964ish.

Let's not forget that the 996 out sold the 993 by about 2:1. I will take this a$$ any day! Get used to it because this is the view that you will most likely be seeing.

Having seen the recent images of what appears to be a production model in blue, I think it looks fantastic.
