There are some beautiful ones in the 991 Forum already. A new DBM with Bordeaux Red/Black leather was just posted yesterday.

There has not been a Turbo Targa since Type 964 and I think it would be great.

Why stop there? I think they should make a Targa GT3. And a Targa GT3RS. And a Targa GT2. And a Targa 992, not S, not anything, just a regular old Targa like in the old days.
Call it the Targa T. Sell it as the "pure" Targa, what the Targa GT3 would be if it came with a menial. Er, I mean manual.
Think of it. A Targa GT2. Open to closed in 2.3 seconds! At speeds up to 150!
With enough Targas Porsche could hit an even thirty 911 variants. Bring it on!

I'm personally waiting for the Panamera Turbo S Hybrid Sports Tourismo Targa. It is stuck in Engineering until they decide if they fit the badging onto the lift gate all at once or in chapters.

Right. As if. We all know perfectly well, the minute the Panamera Turbo S Hybrid Sports Tourismo Targa comes out you will be waiting for the Panamera Turbo S Hybrid Sports Tourismo Targa GTS.

Unless the Targo roof portion is hardtop or something (as long it isn't cloth), then ya. Other than that I will pass.

Targa's just got way too many moving parts - I dunno how it does on a track.

Chuck, those last three letters will require changing badging from analog to digital. The question is, will the rear pumper cap have an OLED or LED LCD display for ever proliferating model designations and dynamic highway marketing messages (or will that be next for Exclusive illuminated door sills)?

Good point. Scrolling model designation alternating with weather reports and traffic advisories, good call. Haters gonna hate, even when its discovered buried deep in the manual that you can set it to scroll between your braking g-force and last weeks F1 standings.

I hope they do make a 992 Targa Turbo and I hope it’s closer to the design of the 993/996/997 targa roof systems and not the ultra-heavy and complex system from the 991.
