Are they that much worse than the 18-ways? I haven't sat in them by comparison, but I'm curious about it from people who have tried both.

I've never sat in a 14. They're ugly.

I have 14s in my 4S. Going by the post below I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder but other than some extra movement and a bit wider for the larger folks not much of a difference.

i dont have exp with 14 way but from what ive read, maybe they'd be more suited for larger folks since they have less bolstering. smaller folks claim not enough support and you move around in 14 way. ive got 18 way and they are glorious! i'm abt 170 lbs

the 14-way seats should be removed from configurator immediately and never used again.

I've got the 14s. I tried to change them last minute at the suggestion of the SA at the dealer, but the build actually locked before I could resubmit.

The seats are completely fine. I've barely thought about them since receiving the car.

The car as stated has been over a year for sale and no bite. I thought it was a joke at first a TTS near 400k. it only takes one person to like the car b4 it's sold and there are many people that could care less it is 400k. Just take a look at sothebys hammer price 475k for sport classic and sold.
i would not personally get 14 ways but seats are dependent on body types so not surprised some opt for 14 ways

Speaking of cars that have been for sale for a long time. Look at this one. I originally saw it at Porsche Deleware. Now it’s at Porsche Of The Mainline in Pennsylvania. I think it’s been sitting in Porsche dealerships for more than a year and a half. Look at the Carfax to see the history.
