I will watch some Youtube videos and maybe this Saturday I will try changing the paddles myself -- removing the airbag seems like the difficult part of the installation.
What about buying the new bolt-- do you think this is really necessary?
I would recomend first time changing them at a workshop and see how they do it so you see the tools and procedure.As for bolt if you don’t plan on removing it again in the future yes,if you want to upgrade the frame to carbon or the steering wheel itself some loctite on the old bolt is enought.

inpossible even on 991 framework.Only way is to get a 992 steering wheel+airbag+ steering wheel adapter so it works on old version and after that add the paddles also.

we got 4 versions of chalk and a unreleased heritage version with 3/4 chalk.Paddles genuine come only with yellow but we can offer some + - silver vynil to put pver the yellow.
Bought a 2015 Panamera GTS this summer and it came with this steering wheel. I would like to change to, what I call standard steering wheel with the controls on the wheel spokes. After reading this post, I see it is possible. Used steering wheels on line, have a varied price range. So, will any steering wheel from a 970 fit? Will there be any connection challenges?

you can go for a panamera facelift one 970,that has no buttons i think directly.Just make sure when you buy it has that red harness cable that come on panamera usually.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was looking for confirmation that any used steering wheel from a 970 will fit on my 2015 Panamera GTS. I have seen them on ebay, craiglist and salvage yard sites. The prices of these steering wheels range from several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars. If they are authentic Porsche steering wheels, why such a great price difference? For example will a used 2010 Panamera 4 fit on my 2015 Panamera GTS?

used ones are usually cheaper.You need another airbag for sure
