That is absolutely correct. When the MSRP goes up 10-15k year over year, someone looking to buy a low mileage 2022 at MSRP (from 2022) would be saving 20-30k right off the bat over buying the identical 2024 and thats if you can even find one, and another 8-9% in sales tax savings. which could amount to another 20k in savings.

40k less for a preowned 2022 over a brand new 2024? Seems like a no brainer to me why used prices are so high and as far as I know there ar no differences in the engine or drivetrain from 2022-2024.

Helps the previous generation too….bought a 2017 991.2 TTS with 7 k miles in 18 for $170k, saved $50k plus tax of 12k….trading a 18 GT3….could sell my car today for close to what I purchased as the appreciable escalation in prices on 992 plus crazy ADMs keeps prices up for previous series…..my daily driver too….buying a 992 TTS won’t happen for some time as I would have to come up with 100k plus my car which doesn’t make sense to me….

As I understand it there is no real difference from '21 to '24 and no hard line on the '25 and if only hybrids are available. It looks like the current S just increased the MSRP $2k

Yep, that's what I did. My 992 TTS is a 2021 CPO that had 2,500 miles on it, new condition. MSRP was $236k, and that's what I paid for it. 2023 MSRP for the same car was $263k, $27k higher, and I assume 2024 will cost even more. And I LOVE the build of my 2021 car, wouldn't change anything.
