Super easy, 30 min start to finish. I did read about people having trouble with carpet and tabs, this was a non-issue.
I did update the firmware and set my preferred settings before install and added a permanent USB extension for easy update, already used it to change from button presses to hold button.
One touch controls while driving are great, closing/opening while walking even better.
