Well I've had the car for 2 days and it's phenomenally responsive. Definitely feels like it's a lot smaller and more nimble than the M5, and feels much more like a race car. Can't even imagine how raw the GT3 feels. Having a radenso/ALP radar/laser protection system installed soon, as well as a dash cam, and considering high flow cats. However, I have to make sure they won't cause a CEL light or emissions test failure. Maybe eventually going with an M engineering tune, but with CPO warranty through 2027, I feel very hesitant to tune. Do they offer any warranty if Porsche denies? I'm guessing not.

No extra warranty. You can tune back to stock with M Eng tune however.

I assumed there wouldn't be. However, honest question here for everyone: who has personally experienced, or known someone who experienced, a mechanical failure attributed to flash tuning on this platform?

Never heard it myself. These Porsche engines don’t have plastic rods like the M5s hehe

True, I'm sure the forged connecting rods on the 911 are much stronger than the BMW rods which are likely still cast on the S63 engine. The thing I worry about is excessive clutch wear on the PDK. That can't be cheap to replace.

PDK is holding decent power stock.

m Eng has a tune for it that they’re holding 900whp. Increased line pressure etc. I have to send my PDK controller to them still for the tune.

Remember that a **** ton of 991 guys have beat on these engines and trans for years so they have a good idea on what they can do and what not.
