If you are out an about, malls and movie theaters, thieves will mark your vehicle when you pull in and park.

They will follow you inside and make attempts so scan your key, which can be averted with the pouch.

Otherwise, i just avoid extended parks in public.
I have faraday boxes all over my house.
I lost my Rx350 in 2019 from my driveway. That same evening saw over 100+ lexus and toyota SUV's gone in my neighborhood in midtown Toronto.
My neighbor was hit in 2021 and it seems the thieves took it to another level and had a key made, likely from someone able to use his VIN to order one.. many of my neighbors now have bollards built into their driveways...

We have a government that is soft on crime.. refugees and illegal immigrants pouring in.. thefts, car jackings and home invasions all up in recent years.
Change is necessary...

Huh? I just drive my car normally like when I was in my 20's and never worry about stuff like this. Didn't realize I had to. When I get home, I put my keys in a drawer in the kitchen with all our other keys and when I drive to the mall, I just park for as long as I want to and don't worry about .... nothing. To each his own.
