Default 992 Turbo S Owners with Iron Brakes

Has anyone received their 992 Turbo S allocation with iron brakes yet? Trying to confirm what calipers and discs are actually being supplied on these cars exactly. Does the 992 Turbo S share the iron setup with the 992 Turbo models? If anyone has any insight I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I can't imagine anyone has done this with a Turbo S.

Turbo s doesn’t come with iron brakes… Nor is it an option.

The rumor that Turbo S will have iron brakes are overly exaggerated. Maybe the supply issue caused the delay on some Turbo S, including mine. But I don't think they will have iron brakes.

I was just contacted by a dealer who claims he is going to have several customers receiving cars with iron brakes and those customers are already looking into alternative options, which is why I am bringing this up. This particular dealer was calling from Canada, so perhaps that changes things. Absolutely not trying to spread any rumors here (or ever), just trying to understand what is really going on.

Did the dealer mentioned what model? Either Turbo S or Turbo? I know that non-Turbo S were not able to option the PCCB lately. I for one, ordered the Turbo S because of standard PCCB. If they negate on it, then a lot of people will be really pissed-off plus a 10K refund. I don't know the reason why my production lasted 3 months. Maybe it was waiting for parts like PCCB.

Porsche cannot and will not deliver a Turbo S with iron brakes. You are confusing it with Turbo. Your dealer is confused.

Ya its probably the regular turbo or GT cars.

Turbo S comes stock with PCCB.

Yea he could have been mistaken, but he was pretty clear over the phone it was 992 Turbo S models, not Turbo models. I am also under the impression those owners were aware they were receiving iron brakes, not that Porsche changed things after the fact on them. I am skeptical myself, which is why I reached out here to see if anyone else can confirm this. I guess we will know in a few weeks if those aforementioned cars actually arrive with iron brakes. In the meantime, again, not trying to create chaos here. If you are supposed to be getting PCCB and paid for it, I'm sure you will receive PCCB brakes. I'm not saying otherwise by any means.

There is no way Porsche sells a TTS with iron brakes. I just refuse to believe it until I see it.

Ya, there is NO way that shows up, and if they do Id leave that thing at the dealer and never bring it home unless they promised to replace the PCCBS later.

If they ship with irons, they would install PCCB later at no cost. They did it with CF hoods on GT2 RS or GT3 RS Weisach in the past, and the owners got to keep the "wrong" delivery hood too. It would require swapping callipers as well, but rotor and calliper swap is a relatively simple job.
