The missing element is the individual driving environment of each buyer. The ability to use a cars full potential differs by location and other personal factors. Living in New York City is not optimum in utilizing the attributes of a tts. Conversely canyon carving outside LA or driving in Montana would allow a driver to utilize a tts’s attributes more often.
The debate is not car vs car but driver vs driver.

If it's a supercar you're after, Turbo.
If it's bang for buck you're after, Base. Or IMHO just an older Turbo (991)
If you have to have a manual, well, then a Base again. Or an even older Turbo (996/997)...

The answer is GT3 manual and Turbo S. You're welcome.

I owned a 992 Turbo S for a bit but sold it when I received my 992 GT3. I’m now in the market for another more daily-able 911 and I honestly prefer the GTS, having driven it a few times at PEC LA. It sounds significantly better (particularly inside the cabin) and is more than fast enough for the street.
I think most bang for buck is a RWD GTS coupe with lightweight package. To me that's the unsung hero of the entire 911 lineup...next could be a 992 Turbo (non-S).

A RWD 992 GTS with lightweight package and manual transmission, buckets, PCCB would get you within about 100 lbs weight of a GT3. (3260 lbs roughly with those options)...with 480 hp and 420 lb-ft the car would be a rocket.

Then I sold it and bought my 991.2 3.8 TT with 540Hp. I did not expect any more performance.
But man, was I wrong! The 3.8 TT accelerates like a rocket ship with boosters compared to my modified 3.0 tt C2S Not even in the same ballpark! How?
Look at the torque and smart AWD of the 3.8 TT. Seat of the pants feel? No comparison!! Cesna prop plane vs rocket ship with boosters!!
Now I'm headed towards 750 Hp and similar number for torque, with relatively mild nods on 93 octane unleaded. My 991.2 3.8 Turbo will be a warp speed rocket ship by comparison, then.
I currently own your C2S and love it. I’d love to find out a bit more about the car too. Call or text anytime. Chris 970-462-1173
