I would assume that allTurbos have heated steerig wheels because it is an option but the cost is $0.00 so I assume it is always chosen. Same as the little cargo net in the passenger side footwell.

I like to keep my AAA triptik in the cargo net holder.

The wiring is there up to the clockspring... it will have to be replaced with a heated wheel version... as well as the wheel itself... plus an enabling code from a hacker. Don't expect your dealer to help. Porsche doesn't allow upgrades to be added post production. You need to sneak it in...

Hi - anyone know the PN for a 2022 GT3 clockspring w/ heating? I just bought a heated wheel from protechpartseu - my GT3 didn't have come w/ heated wheel, so now need to figure out the clockspring, and the PWIS coding.

I made the switch on a Panamera... I learned that you need to be exact with your clockspring selection and Porsche will not enable for you if it is not on your build sheet... I understand there are hackers that sell PIWIS enabling codes, probably just a rumor.

Hi - I bought the steering column switch unit off of ebay - PN 992953502EKHUO for $450 - hoping to install it this weekend, and then try and program w/ PIWIS. Will report back my findings. This is for my 2022 GT3 Touring . . .

Well - this weekend was a abject FAIL - swapped in the steering column switch unit that I purchased from ebay, hooked everything up, and attempted to program with PIWIS. No communications. I tried every angle, and even got the world expert @rnlst_log to dial in and troubleshoot. The best we can tell, the unit I bought was DOA - wouldn't talk to anything. Spent most of Saturday installing, troubleshooting, and then realizing part was defective. This morning, re-installed original switch unit, which required a calibration of steering angle, re-calibration of power steering and RW steering, and reprogramming of a few other modules. Took a few hours to figure everything out, but got it all back working with no faults.

Next step is to try and return the defective switch unit, and find another one - I might just bite the bullet and purchase a new one - they are around $650 though, so not a small risk. The positive side of the entire "wasted" weekend is that I"m MUCH better with PIWIS now, and have a much better understanding of what many of the controllers / modules do.

Again, @rnlst_log was amazing helping me troubleshoot - truly a bottomless pit of knowledge.

May be difference in areas but the dealers where I'm at have no issue with re-coding, I've had my redone twice once adding the aero package and one for lighting

I guess I need to go out of NJ for anything that needs coding in the future. I tried 3 different dealers, the last one nodded yes he can do it, but then didn't... the other two claimed "computer issues"... end result, I had to buy a PIWIS II and do it myself.
