Default Wind Noise

Anyone figure out a solution to this? Took it to 3 different dealers (tech came out for a ride and confirmed the noise issue). They have no clue where to start to address the problem

Not mirror design, it's coming from the windscreen and no, still no solution as of yet.

Check that your windows are closing all the way. I had my window down a bit and tried to close it at 250kmh on the autobahn and it seemed to get stuck and was whistling pretty good. It looks like there is a secondary smaller seal against the window up inside the window jam. I had to roll it up and down and stick my finger in there to pull the seal down.

All been checked, as mentioned, coming from the windscreen driver side area. How annoying.

Is the NA mirror design different from the European one?

Same issue. Sounded to me more like passenger side window/mirror at 130. Any solutions?

I had this noise. Used to drive me nuts on the Autobahn. Turned out to be the trim between the glass roof and the rear screen. It was poking out very slightly. The guys at Manthey had seen it before and used a little gentle heat and a trim tool and levelled it all out. No more noise...

If you have a chance, could you take pic of trim piece you found to be the culprit? I've looked at my roof and rear screen and don't see any asymmetries. TIA.

Passenger side. Note gap between black trim and painted surface.

Driver side for comparison

Wondered if this could be culprit at trim gap (red arrows)? Those that have experienced whistle, what does this piece of trim look like on your vehicle?

could someone take a picture of this area on their vehicle who HASN’T experienced the whistle noise during high speeds?

im going to try to place a piece of temporary adhesive vinyl and see if whistle noise stops. Will update after returning from Mexico drive.

Has anyone found a solution yet? Dealing with the same issue, but unfortunately it is starting now closer to 85mph, is not an uncommon speed on the highway.
