The Soul Race Exhaust eliminates the valves so it will be at the loudest level at all times. It also uses larger diameter piping throughout the whole exhaust system. This changes the tone and resonance throughout the whole RPM range. All other aftermarket exhausts for the 992 Turbo use the smaller stock diameter piping. The car naturally burbles on downshifts when the exhaust is hot and it has an angry and aggressive exhaust note when it comes on full boost with the Soul Race Exhaust. It is drastically different than everything else on the market.

This exhaust is priced at $3995.00 making it is the lowest priced exhaust that we offer and it offers tremendous value if a customer is searching for these attributes in their exhaust.

The cold start is pretty loud. If you start it in your garage in the morning the wife will probably hear it. If you pull it out of the garage and let it idle on cold start your neighbors may hear it if they are close.


Once the cold start is over and the car is at a regular idle it is fairl quiet. I would not expect any noise issues at idle.


Here is the car performing a Sport Mode launch at 4000 RPM. It's sounds good, comes up on launch RPM quicker than the stock exhaust, Now we just have to work on some traction.

Do you offer cat delete pipes or high cell cats? If so, how much are those? Any sound clips of what I'm asking for with stock exhaust? I just want to hear the turbos but not be overly loud.

 

With high flow cats the exhaust system is $5495.00.

I do not have any sound clips with the stock exhaust.

This system may not be for you. The turbos whistle is most noticeable with the Soul but is also the loudest exhaust on the market.

We have other exhaust systems available that are much less noisy. An Akrapovic system uses no muffler at all. The turbo whistle can be heard slightly better than the stock exhaust and it is a lot quieter than the Soul.

 

Do you or anyone make an aftermarket exhaust that retains the valves so you can be quiet when you want/need?

 

Most of the exhausts on the market retain the valves. Akrapovic, Capristo and Kline all do. We offer the Akrapovic and Capristo exhausts. Sam from By Design is the source for the Kline exhausts.

There are other brands on the market but these are the recommended brands that we currently install.

 

If you are looking for just replacements to the cat assemblies themselves, we do offer 992 Catbypass Pipes and 992 Sport Cats that Craig can set you up with. We recommend a tune from Craig in combination with these, which will take care of CELs and also allow you to open the exhaust valves all the way with PSE activated so you can make the best of the cat replacements

For what it's worth, we took a lot of extra time to design our race exhaust to do what you're looking for inherently without the need for valves. We've implemented two resonators and a lopped set of Helmholtz Resonators (anti-drone tubes) tailored to reduce cabin presence and sound level at cruising speeds. We like to think of this system as a mild to wild depending on your throttle application.

I have Kline headers and Kline exhaust, in normal driving mode the exhaust system valves are closed and the exhaust is quiet, in sport or sport plus the valves are open and you hear exhaust

 

I can attest to the perfect fitment of the CL downpipes. Great quality and customer service from Soul. The car now sounds amazing.
The tune from M-engineering is simply plug and play and takes the car to the next level and then some.

Can you comment on the sound comparison between Soul, GMG and Fabspeed with gt2rs style outlets? These 3 are all valveless and from the reviews/videos, I think amongst the loudest sounding for the TTS.
