Default Aftermarket rims on your 992 TT/TTS?

I've looked at HRE rims and they have some good options for the 992. Anyone planning on putting different rims on your 992? IF so, which ones? pics? Any other companies that you guys like other then HRE?

I have a set of Forgeline GT1 5-lug on order. Just about every brand I looked at was 10-12 weeks out. I expect delivery late July.

I have a set of Ryft R5Ys on order in gloss black. Staying with 20/21. I’ve had HREs in the past and they are great wheels.

I have a set of Brixton Forged R11-R's in 21"x10" and 22"x12.5" in a brushed double-tint satin finish on order which takes approximately 3 months. They actually did a rendering for me to get an idea of what it will look like. I am not highlighting the rims in any exterior color, however.

These are beautiful. didn't know you could go with 21/22 in the 992. Are you still able to do SPASM ?

Cool. You had told me about this before too. I think we have the same color, gentian blue. Mine is on order. Intersting you went with gloss black, think any other finishes on rims would look better?

I have gloss black accents on my car, so the gloss black wheels will look great imo. Other finishes I considered are gun metal and bronze, but I have less confidence on how well it’ll compliment Gentian Blue.

Plain old white. But, I have the Sport Design package in high gloss black so I went with gloss black on the wheels.

Awesome. Lots of great options out there. Are you all keeping the stock tires that came with the car and transferring them to the new wheels? Or buying a new set of tires also

I put Michelin pilot 4s tires on all my cars, I take the stock wheels and tires and store them in the boxes the new ones come in, I put them back on the car to trade, or offer them to the next buyer, and yes I have 7 sets of wheels and tires stored in my basement, looks like Tire Rack. I replace wheels, tires, exhaust and tune my cars, it's a sickness I'm working on

Yeah, there are a few on here that have 21/22s. I ordered them with Pilot Sport 4S 265/30/21 and 335/25/22. I am lowering the car regardless of whether or not I option SPASM (still up in the air? )

Me too! Fortunately, for the E63S, it came with the PS4s so I was able to pull them off and put them on the new wheels. I tend to keep my cars for a while, so I am pulling whatever OEM tires come with the car (hopefully PS4S as well) and selling them. Since rubber is only good for 7-9 yrs supposedly, my R8 OEM tires are wasting away.
