Default Finalizing Build - Interior Discussion

Apologize if this is redundant but I have an allocation and I'm working to finalize my build to push her along in the queue. This will be a blue PTS Turbo S Coupe. The primary part of the build that I'm struggling with is the interior. I'm leaning towards Heritage Pure Black, but I have not seen or touched a Heritage interior in person.

My prior ride was a 991.2 TTS Coupe in PTS with Black interior and extended Leather with contrasted stitching and Carbon Trim. I still love the simplicity of that interior combination and I want to be sure the interior I pick this go around will age well too even if my preferences change. I guess to state it simply. I want to enjoy the interior each time I get in the car. This is very subjective ask but what the hell. I'll toss it out to some like minded individuals and see what you guys think. Which interior would you choose with a blue PTS car. I appreciate your input in advance.

Thanks,
Kevin

Nice build Kevin - just my .02

Not sure what shade of blue you will be using, but I see that you have spec'd - Model Designation Stripe Decal on Side in Silver
You might want think about a black leather interior with GT Silver deviated stitching package and Silver Grey seat belts. Would go really well with blue - but not be too much in your face.
Also the Leather/Sport-Tex option is pretty good - you could also do that with GT silver stitching and Silver Grey belts for a little more pop.
Deviated seat centers also work very well - black with chalk & chalk stitching look great in blue cars.

Also...
Looks like you left the outside mirrors painted gloss black or body color off - really need that here - you got all the other gloss black items right.
Interior visors in leather - if you are in the US you will get those with the ugly air-bag warning decals on them. Leave them off and buy them from Suncoast Parts - euro versions that don't have the warning stickers. Easy swap.
With the carbon fiber interior parts already on the S - get the CF steering wheel and CF illuminated door entry door sills (on of my favorite options - just looks very cool)

Good luck with it - a daunting task for sure. Just some ideas....

Awesome feedback. I was actually playing around with various builds and duplicated the black leather and deviated seat centers with chalk & chalk stitching. Appreciate you taking the time to share and provide the photos too!

Agreed with most of the above... though this package is pretty cool, unique and you will probably never see another car with it in it... the 911 badge in silver on the dashboard trim is particularly cool looking. I personally wouldn't get a car with corduroy or anything but leather in the interior since I'd be worried that it would get dirty faster, is tougher to clean in some ways, and over the years might end up looking a bit beat up, but that's just me. I'm still considering getting the black on black Exclusive Manufaktur Leather Interior but I'm not 100% yet.

What you picked looks amazing:
Heritage Design Interior - Pure in Black -

Leather Interior in Black with specific Heritage Design Features:
  • Seat centers in corduroy
  • Door panels in corduroy
  • Sport Seat Plus Backrest Shells in Leather with Leather Inlays
  • Porsche Crest on Headrests
  • Extended Door Trim in Leather
  • Interior Trim in Leather
  • 911 badge in Silver on dashboard trim
  • Center storage compartment lid with embossed "Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur" logo
  • Seat belts in Atacama Beige or Black (i.c.w. Leather Interior in Black)
  • Heritage Design Floor Mats
  • Door-Sill Guards in Aluminum with "911" logo
  • Instrument cluster with green numbers and white needles
  • Sport Chrono Stopwatch with green numbers and white needles (i.c.w. Sport Chrono Package)

Ok after chatting with my SA, we decided to go with black leather with deviated stitching, dials and belts in racing yellow. I apologize to "Riotgear" as he has a similar interior as shown below (actually I think the pictures are his interior considering he posted the photos.)

I suggested black with silver deviated stitching, dials and belts but my SA said the owner has a Speedster in the same blue I'm ordering with this interior and it is simply awesome. I relinquished if he was willing to part with the speedster for a day. I might change my mind as we aren't locked yet, but this is close to 100% complete. I do like a lighter color interior in gray and chalk but as I'm doing a lighter blue that may not have enough contrast.

Are the illuminated door sills a factory option or something you added?

I feel silly but don’t see it as an option for my build. I only see “under door puddle light projectors.” Would you mind telling me where it is? (Category)

Under the drop down for Interior Carbon Fiber:

Door-Sill Guards in Matte Carbon Fiber, Illuminated Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur

$1,280

or under the Interior Aluminum:

Door-Sill Guards in Dark Silver Brushed Aluminum, Illuminated Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur

$900

Most people do the Carbon Fiber option though both are popular.

Thank you! That’s why I had missed it. I hadn’t planned on the aluminum or carbon options. Well, guess I’ll need to now!

I have black extended leather everywhere with yellow belts and yellow stitching, went with white dials because all my other porsche's also have white dials, the 22" will have white dials too
