My boat is 3 miles from San Diego port right now, and TYD shows it 3-4 days out. Will be interesting to see how long it takes to the dealership from here.

Default delayed again 911 Turbo S Cabriolet PTS

first post! joining the frustration. i know i’m chiming in late. ordered my Turbo S Cabriolet in late November. was told car would likely be delivered in April because it was PTS (Gemini Blue). Date moved to May 28 when everything got locked in—no changes to specs—i got it just about as fully loaded as i could. 😬 delivery in May was moved to June 4. Then moved to June 11. Then July 9. then july 23. now august 20. i called the dealership in may and they told me they would return my deposit and they could sell the car immediately. she recommended i don’t do that because they have slots for 2022s and have no idea when they will. i’m doubtful it will arrive in August. did i get pushed to august because of PTS? i know the semiconductor shortage screwed some of this up , but did PTS further delay it? are these cars really appreciating? is everyone concerned about QC issues? thanks

Curious, are you tracking the progress of your TTS on the Track Your Dream, via the dealers updates or both? My TTS Cab is at production scheduled for 7/2. It has hit all previous milestones to this point. Keeping my fingers crossed my luck continues. If so, should have it by 8/27.

That said, I just sold my 2018 TT for $2K less than I paid for it 2.5 years ago. Turbo prices are definitely elevated.

Good luck with your new TTS Cab.

mine went into product 6/7. and it now says on TYD production will complete on 7/9. on the ship on 7/30.

I’d check with your dealer. They have access to more detailed statuses of exactly where your car is in the build process.

Lol, this process has driven me so insane that I'm asking questions of myself. I'm probably answering them too. Geez. Maybe the end is near...

Maybe it’s good that I never received a TYD email notification. I’ve been V200 for a few weeks since we submitted a preliminary build. Did my final build today. How long did it take to get your TYD info?

What can cause a build delays, we all know now the PTS is taking so long, can be months. What else?
For example, does Deviated interior stitching and seat centers cause delay
any other exclusive manufaktur options we know has caused build delays

thank you.

My TYD for 2021 TTS:

4/30/21 - Freeze Point Reached
6/7/21 - Scheduled for Production
6/15/21 - Start Production
6/21/21 - Production Completed -CP8.0
6/21/21 - Ready for Transport
6/21/21 - In Transit to Emden Port
6/22/21 - Arrival at Emden Port

That's where I'm at now. Here's where it says I'm going:

7/16/21 - On Vessel
7/30/21 - Vessel entering Port Channel
7/30/21 - Entry Port
7/30/21 - En Route to Porsche Dealer
8/6/21 - Arrival Porsche Dealer

The estimated delivery date has bounced back and forth between 7/30 and 8/6 several times now so we'll see what happens

So today is the day that TYD currently promises my car's arrival at the dealer, 86 miles from where it has been sitting for three weeks. My SA hasn't been able to provide a shred of reliable information about the reason for the stall. Until today. Voila, today they tell me that it has been sitting at port awaiting TPMS. Apparently this is high-level data that cannot be readily shared. And truthfully, there's no practical reason for me to put faith in this new info.

At some point today or tomorrow the TYD will show a new delivery date of next week sometime. Maybe

3-8-21 - Freeze Point Reached
3-19-21 - Scheduled for Production
3-29-21 - Start Production
5-4-21 - Production Completed -CP8.0
5-4-21 - Ready for Transport
5-4-21 - In Transit to Emden Port
5-4-21 - Arrival at Emden Port
5-15-21 - On Vessel
6-10-21 - Entry Port
est 6-25-21 - En Route to Porsche Dealer
est 6-25-21 - Arrival Porsche Dealer
as of 6-25-21 it is still at Port, but the TYD has not been updated.

ALL of these dates changed (some multiple times) throughout the process, fyi.
