Exhaust installed threw a check engine light..

I’m pretty sure it’s not the GMG setup for our cars.. if now after the install I receive the triangle dash light along with check engine. Any insight on what can trigger this? Thank you for any input.

Did you scan?
Simple OBD2 bluetooth and Torque Lite app might do the trick. https://www.veepeak.com/product/obdcheck-vp11/
The catalytic efficiency monitoring is super tight on these cars and will flag anything coming out the exhaust a little rich.

I’m at least able to clear codes with it. It seems lol but it returns on start up

that could be a vacuum leak...check your gas filler lid and maybe check the install on the exhaust
