Default Exhaust installed threw a check engine light..

I’m pretty sure it’s not the GMG setup for our cars.. if now after the install I receive the triangle dash light along with check engine. Any insight on what can trigger this? Thank you for any input.

Did you scan?

Simple OBD2 bluetooth and Torque Lite app might do the trick. https://www.veepeak.com/product/obdcheck-vp11/

The catalytic efficiency monitoring is super tight on these cars and will flag anything coming out the exhaust a little rich.

Makes total sense that’s for sure I have the icarsoft por 2 reader. I don’t think it’s compatible with the 992 but this is what it reads

that could be a vacuum leak...check your gas filler lid and maybe check the install on the exhaust

Try this site:

Thanks for the tips! I’ll take a peak once the exhaust cools down.

GMG should provide spacers if you inform them.

I didn't have any problem with my new GMG exhaust system on my new TTS. Yes, they are good people & will take care of you.

That's good to hear - the install issue (!). Let us know how you enjoy the exhaust.
