Default Tech upgrades for 2022 model

Do you think the tech upgrades coming to the 2022 models are just software that can be applied to the 2021’s?

Pretty happy with how everything works so far, the iphone thru appleplay works great, music thru Deezer couldn't work better. Probably be several updates, not sure if Porsche does these over the air or the dealer has to do them

Nice overview of 2022 changes...several minor, mostly tech and paint, but none fundamental.

Thanks for posting that, so jealous of those features coming. Still curious if the PCM interface they talk about will simply be a software update so that we can have the improved and simplified PCM screens?

All minor 'improvements' but none that justify the price increase; In fact, I am happier with my 2021 choices that are no longer available such as 'unlimited' carplay, Lightweight glass, wihout the full package, etc.

I hear there will also be and update to the "PDK/Manual" debate to cover "car self parking/human car parking"!

Waiting for comments on involvement, technique, efficiency, nostalgia, etc, etc.

I'd like the PCM interface update, knowing fully that we don't have Suspend2RAM hardware that the 2022 models are getting, so likely no improvement in boot up speed, but the updated interface/software version would be nice.

Android Auto and PCM update are the only intriguing improvements. Self-parking 911....? No thanks.

Is the Sports Chrono with the subsecond clock a new deal? Was SC standard on TTS or do you have to get this now?

SC is standard on the TTS. The subsecond clock is just a fancier clock to replace the standard SC clock.

Thought the same thing, am I really going to park my car where it's so tight I can not get into it? Don't think so. I will need self parking when I am too old too drive, until then no thank you

The camera on the nose is a deal-breaker to me on probably a lot of the nanny options...luckily I don't have to decide on those. I'm sure the self-park would have needed the camera.
