also, don't spend $ on sun visors - what ever you pick, they will come with stickers.

I bought, via Suncoast, Alcantara ones, without stickers, look MUCH MUCH cleaner.

I saw other threads showing disappointing removal of the sticker from leather. What method do you use?

I'm also trying to determine what would look best with cabriolet ceiling. What type of fabric is the ceiling on cabs? I don't think its Alcantara/Race-tex, perhaps just the cloth used in the ceiling on coupes?

91% alcohol on a paper towel, completely covering the sticker and soaking for about 15 minutes. Roll sticker off with your fingers, and use alcohol on the paper towel to further soak any stubborn areas., Last car I did was 991.2 GT3, NOT leather. I have never done this on leather, fyi.

I have the vinyl ones that come with the car; I also have 97% alcohol. I will try it and report back.... this for sure won't work on alcantara... (race tex)

I'm no expert but personally I would be afraid to even try it on leather or alcantara.

The alcohol trick works. I've done it several times. No problem with the vinyl. It does take some patience.

OK Circling back... Euh.... It takes a LOT (LOT) of patience. No way I would do this on anything other than cheap vinyl.
I had it soaked with a very damp / wet rag in 99% alcohol, for >30 mins... after >30 mins, it barely came off, and not without residue.

If you spend $250k or so on a car, please, please, spend $1300 on a set of visors without stickers. It is a mess to take off, and it is a clear DIY job without good results.

I said 91%.

LOL, no idea if that has any bearing on your result. I will say that I think the paper towel provides more uniform exposure to the alcohol. I've done this routine with three Porsche cars, and never had the trouble reflected in your pictures.

lol. I don’t drink that cheap stuff! Also see that it has ‘expired’ . Either way, I am sure on vinyl you can get decent results, but I think you will ruin both leather and race Tex.

In the bright light sitting on your countertop you can see a shadow of the decal, but installed in the car it looks normal.

And yes, it is a pain in the ***.

The stickers don't bother me. No need to even try and remove them.

I used brake/contact cleaner to remove stickers from Alcantara with no problem other than I had to use soap & water to get rid the smell of brake cleaner.
