To some degree - not surprising. There are slim pickings out there (for sale) and the demand is way higher than supply with build slots many months out. Many close to new are now asking over MSRP - weird times for Turbo's. I think at some point this will normalize as supply catches up.. But Porsche started to scale back production numbers with the 991.2 last year and now into the 992 TT/S low production - so maybe they are looking to bolster resale by limiting supply. Who knows. Or its Covid - wealthy are doing OK and are bored stiff and need something to spend their money on vs vacations. And you can't drive a watch

Great thread..........Porsche is POSSIBLY finally listening to Turbo S/Turbo owners complain about steep depreciation. But probably not))) They seem to sell as many as they can make with the Turbos and GT cars.....and they still are relatively low production models........

Found this thread would be interesting to revive. I wonder what those who responded are thinking about how well their statements held up.
I still don't see any used tts selling at an appreciable discount. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Usually, the guys without a 992 Turbo that are commenting on how they will tank..
or 3 Pedals, he hates the Turbo S.

I recently passed on a dealer trade for a 2023 GT3 Touring with 42 miles.
Dealer was offering $10k less than my ‘22 TTS purchase price - which was msrp…. Probably some wiggle room on both ends… but I take it as ballpark. I had ~4900 miles..

Just looked locally and across Canada. TTS prices are starting to decline here. Low options and ugly colors are around $270-$280k. Some are still up around $300 to 330k, stuff seems to be sitting longer.

…noted as well but I am curious as to how the Luxury Tax (20% on amount over $100k) is propping/ helped all the lightly used luxury vehicles in Canada. Guys with 992 deliveries that beat the tax will have some protection - and the fact that the tax timed coincidently with two price increases by Porsche in late 2022 then early 2023. Not a great time to be buying a new TTS in Canada….

It appears to me that the used market hasn’t caught up to the luxury tax yet. Before it was implemented I thought the market would jump but it never did.

Doing the deal would have been a smart financial transaction
Primarily passed because i really, really like my spec
And i did the TTS vs GT3 b2b at the Porsche experience center - the difference in power is real
Purchased a manual 996 to fill the void

I just purchased a 2021 turbo S cabriolet with about 7500 miles on it. I basically got it for $15,000 off of list. I have been watching these cars for years now. Although they are going down a little bit I’m not sure it’s ever going back to the way it used to be.
