There's just something about a 992 TTS, a kind of non-showy confidence.

My 22 PTS Iris blue. It’s a flip flop color. When the sun hits it it has a purplish tint to it

there's ppf and then there's PPF. lol. lighter colored cars can be tricky if a precut ppf kit is used b/c a lot of the kits don't wrap the edges so dirt buildup on the edge lines will eventually be very noticeable on light colors. went with a detailer that only works in bulk and wraps every edge via a teardown. takes much longer to do but is so clean...and i can see they have my trickle charger connected. whew.
here's an example of the con's of a ppf kit from my other car. the car is 2.5yrs old and like the porsche went straight to the detailer after buying it new. it has full body coverage and it's always garaged, and kept show ready when stored. i can only imagine what a daily driver stored outside would look like. i'm a bit ocd with my toys and realize this stuff doesn't matter to the majority.
if you're considering ppf on your new car and haven't had it installed yet, i recommend looking at detailers that use bulk and do teardowns to wrap the edges. of course i vetted the the shop for the 911. they were able to show me a library of previous 992 tts' completed and was able to call out all the quirks of wrapping a tts.

i'd prob want others that have a black car and ppf kit to chime in but my assumption is that dirt on the edge lines would be much less noticeable. i've only had one black car and it didn't have ppf so i have no reference to say with confidence. i did update my original post to include a pic example of what the dirt lines look like.
