Nice. Just noticed that the 992 Turbo has heat shields on turbos and manifolds. It might help with reducing turbo lag at low revs, like turbo blankets, but could it hurt cooling at higher loads (e.g., track)?

This weekend we had the opportunity to do some comprehensive testing with our new 992 Turbo S GMG Exhaust System at The Thermal Club! Not only is this incredible machine FAST, but it sounds amazing now too!! Our exhaust system has really awakened the car! There is much more to come!!

Sounds nice. Which exhaust package is this? Is this the center exhaust swap/replacement?

Had your center exhaust swap on my .2 GT3 and enjoyed it very much. Thanks for clarifying.

Similar to the 991 WC-Sport Exhaust System, this 992 exhaust system is a direct bolt on replacement for the factory system, including cats.

Great complete system! What would you expect sound (and performance?) wise from only 200 cell sport cats?
thanks

I want one even though I won't be able to drive at Laguna Seca on their standard 90 or 92 db track days.

Thank you for all the support! We’re working out pricing and as we finalize this setup, also developing other options! For assistance with ordering, please email Sales@gmgracing.com!

Default Do I need PSE if I end up doing an aftermarket kit like GMG / Others?

For those of us who have not yet ordered a TTS, does your package NEGATE the need to order the Porsche Sport Exhaust? The reason I ask is it sounds like your package deletes the valve open/closed button and potentially therefore negates the need to even order the PSE.

I guess I am asking the question to you and the whole group here: What does PSE give you (other than dual exhaust vs. quad in the rear -- and that is optics only) if you are DEFINITELY going to be ordering a different exhaust package like your GMG setup?

Thanks in advance.

SB

Any chance at an aftermarket VALVED option from GMG or other manufacturers so we can use the valves open / closed button in the center console for those that ordered PSE?

This was an option on your center exhaust swaps for 991.2 GT3 owners. And it was crucial. My wife called it the neighbor sleeps/wake the neighbors button. Would be great to still be able to do this.

Let us know and thanks, GMG.

We are working on a version for Non-PSE that will accommodate the quad tips, so there will be a version for both. As far as valves go, that is TBD.
Still some work and real world testing to be done, so we’ll see!

Here is a great thread that goes over PSE vs Standard exhaust on the 992 Turbo -

Sounds like they will make a valved option.

I’m very curious about weight savings too.
