No. Speculation is Geneva 2020 reveal but that is just internet rumors. It wont be on the configurator until the official reveal.

Expect about $20-30k more than the outgoing 991 generation.

There are first ride articles earlier this month from Car and Driver, Road and Track, and Car Magazine, among others.

I personally expect $15k more base MSRP, but everyone is going to spec the sports suspension and sports exhaust, so a similar car will be $25k more than the 991.2 generation.

You really think that the 992 Turbo will start at around $181K? Current Turbo is around $161K

Before options, MSRPs have been 7-10% higher for the 992. The majority of S model cars are transacting north of $150k with options, and a good number of cars well beyond that. Given the higher performance and output of the new Turbo/Turbo S cars, there has to be greater pricing separation from the lower tier cars. Plus, while, historically, the Turbo/Turbo S have had fewer available options with so much being part of the standard specification, the addition of PSE, SPASM, etc as newly available options means that 992 Turbo buyers will be able to further pad their option sheets. For the 992, I am expecting an more substantially elevated/eye watering base price and customer specs at pricepoints that will be knocking on the door of the 991.2 Exclusive edition.

The car is going to be awesome, but that awesome isn’t going to come cheap. 🤪

To be fair, the base MSRP of the 2019 991.2 didn't include PDK, which is now standard with the 992. If you add the $3,730 cost of the now standard PDK in, then the differences between the base 991.2 and 992 is between $2,500 and $5,500 depending on model. I'll be surprised if they raise the Turbo MSRPs to more than $15k. In fact, I think they might want to keep the base Turbo S at around $200,000 or so.

Of course, you are right that the PSE and SPASM will mean that the actual MSRP of most customer cars will be significantly higher.

My personal guess is to slice that delta in half- $171k to start for base TT, but then again just a guess...optioned up you may be looking at 991.2 TTS price which actually will seem close in performance.

is it normal to have over a year delay between a new model release and a turbo release? I'm super anxious and looking at other models now.

Totally normal. If the car is launched at / before Geneva 2020, I would even call it fast for Porsche (1.5 years after initial launch).

The 997.1 initial launch was early 2004, and the 997.1 Turbo was launched Feb 2006, 2 years later. The 991.1 initial launch was in March 2011 (Geneva 2011), and the 991.1 Turbo and Turbo S was launched May 2013, more than 2 years later. The 991.2 versions were launched much faster, but that is a refresh instead of a entirely new generation.

If you are in the US, don't expect to see new vehicles delivered until late 2020 (EPA, CARB approvals and such). If you need a car sooner than that, you might want to look at other options (McLaren GT?).

Waiting on news of the regular 992 TT (non S) and if the turbos are same in TT and TTS trim just like 991.1. If it's a different turbo then for sure will go for the S but if the same for sure the TT is a bargain and with a tune should be a 9 sec car. Yes on PDCC and height drop with PASM and 5 Lug wheels. Could care less about CC brakes. The standard steel brakes already generate enough G when you brake hard to have your eyeballs pop out.
