Looks like market is starting to prefer 992.1's over 992.2's. That's what happens when you introduce a full digital screen and a heavier car. Porsche should have kept the analog tachometer from the 992.1 instead of making the .2 cluster look like a Honda Civic.
One is a Touring with an amazing spec, and the other is a wing with an inferior configuration. Apples and Oranges.
No one prefers .1 over .2 except when it comes to price.
what is good about him? i honestly can’t stand to watch him for more than his “sponsored” video takes.
he has no real insight and IS NOT an auto journalist.
Agreed. I'm so tired of these guys that 'think' they know so much and act like they are better than everyone else. The arrogance just oozes out of them. Demuro is another. The incorrect crap he's stated over the years is mind boggling.

I prefer the .1 over the .2. I might be in a small percentage of gt3 owners, but passed on the .2. I like the more aggressive look, 918 bucket seats, and analog rev counter. Suspension tweaks are just software updates and shorter gearing is because the engine makes less torque. Keeping more money in my pocket was also a nice bonus.
Both the .1 and .2 are great but while Porsche is known for incremental improvements within each generation, it sure seems as though the 992, compared to the 997 and 991 generations, had, by far, the least amount of improvements from the .1 to the .2.

Agreed - they had to do some work arounds due to the EU regulations to hold serve on power, wanted to address front end complaints and add a few new features e.g. back seats and buckets that allowed back seats. Overall the incremental improvements are great but if you have a .1 and you like it, the .2 is not needed. if you like the areas they enhanced, the the .2 at the price is a great car as well. I took my .2 delta and put it towards adding a GT4 RS to my .1 - could not be happier!
