Out-of-state dealership. Still trying to get my foot in the door at a local one this year since things fell apart.

I guarantee you when you write a one star review they will call you in lightening speed. Then you can start your negotiations. Thank me later.

Ah. That could be one of the problems, and given the rumors of potentially more stringent rules on allocations to locality...

Worth giving a shot. I will let you all know how it goes.

Agreed. I don't take it personal; wish the promise came to fruition.

Really nice build. Just about 100k over just ended on BAT. Seems like market is softer but not 50k softer.

I'd rather take the "current market value" of 100K and spend the next 6 years traveling with my family and making actual memories instead of buying a car

I re-up with them every time I take delivery of a new car and I've yet to turn down anything when it's my turn. Needless to say they have a customer for life.

To each his own, but I've never paid an ADM and never will. There are just too many great cars out there to play that game.
Glad to hear that you have a good guy dealer. What state are they in? Do you trade your older GT cars to them when the new ones come in?

Coming back to the original topic, my local gm did say they will offer at msrp but when the time comes I don’t think they will give me first chance to bite. They’ll probably give it to some sucker who wants to pay adm. So fingers crossed but highly unlikely, I am now looking at used touring and gt3rs but waiting for the price to come down…

Been trying to build a relationship with dealers to no avail. Dealer I was working with put in an order demand for a RS build promising me that build if I get an allocation when my turn comes. Car shows up on my Porsche app tied to my name. They never contacted me about the allocation showing up or the order going through. They used me all along to get another allocation from Porsche to snake it from me and sell it in the open market. I had the vin assigned me and everything. Send the dealer and SA screenshot asking about my build. When ask to put a deposit at the beginning SA just responded don't worry we're putting this order in for you and in case we get it you can wait your turn. You never know. They responded with single sentence "Oh sorry, yes this is your order, we are going to remove your name from it now" I responded with WTF. I waited in line for this car. Ghosted me. Not a single contact back. Car disappeared from my Porsche app. So yeah. These m*fkers will sell their own mom for a dollar.

Hope you get the car. The entire buying experience across many dealers has really soured me on the brand.

Not exactly, MSRP for 2024 increased by 25k for the same car
