Looks awesome - unfortunately Tire Rack only shows 2 sizes (both 19's and not suitable fitment for any GT car). Hopefully soon...
Edit: Currently only looks like they plan to have fitments for 3RS and Taycan:

Wish they'd make GT3 sizes as well...

Looking forward trying the new Trofeo RS though!
From the tests it seems like it is going to be a proper tire.

Also, Cup 2 on 992 RS is definitely not the same tire that was launched in 2013. It's even different from 992 GT3 and 991.2 GT3 RS cup 2 in both construction and rubber. Michelin with Cup 2 seems like Pirelli with P Zero - many generations with the same name, which makes it very confusing, especially when they are produced and sold at the same time.

It's only 1 test, the old Trofeo R was nice for multiple quick laps too just lacked a bit of overall grip. However some of the results from the other tires don't make sense to me, I don't recognize the behavior that a regular Cup 2 needs 4 laps to put in its best time. If anything they overheat and drop off quicker than the Cup 2R does. Plus, the Cup 2R immediately loses multiple seconds after the first lap and as much as 8 by the end? On what planet? I've done multiple push laps in a row on fast tracks and the performance was pretty stable, I don't see how it could possibly lose 8 seconds and be slower than the regular Cup 2 halfway through the run.

Yes, big difference driving the 2R on the Nordschleife where you can get a couple of days out of them vs Spa where you'll be out of rubber at the end of day 1 if you keep pushing it.
Interestingly, we know from the spy spots at the famous gas station that Porsche ran the Trofeo RS on the 992 RS at the Nurburgring before the car was launched. But they still used the Cup 2R to set the official lap time on suggesting that either the Pirelli wasn't much quicker or if it was, that they didn't want to use it for marketing or other reasons.
As far as availability goes, patience will be the order of the day I guess. Pirelli isn't Michelin in this regard, even the regular Trofeo has been hard to find and expensive for a long time now. They don't have the scale of production for this type of tire or something.
