I own 4 vehicles currently. All from different auto makers. But each one is the highest possible trim in that model. Call it ego...i don't agree. I just enjoy the fact I'm in something that the manufacturer did not necessarily hold anything back with. Not that other trims aren't amazing... The 992 being an epic car that is more than anyone could need for 99.9% of its purpose... But I have a disease that essentially made me buy the RS over the "regular" 3. I'm pleased to know others are afflicted with the same disease as I.
Truth is you can't go wrong... But man does the 992 3RS have street presence like no other Porsche

i had the 992 GT3 and since 3 weeks i have the RS!
This weekend i have done 4 days of road tour in a region of Italy where the streets where not so great, lots of bumps and so on!
i really wished i kept the GT3, because it was so much better. The RS just jump and is really no fun to drive!
I bought it because i do a lot of trackdays, but for the road the normal is so much better to drive!

I've heard/seen from dozens of sources that the 3RS can actually be more comfortable on the street than a regular GT3 if all the modes (available on steering wheel) are set to their softest settings. That feedback seems to be unanimous from every review I've watched where suspension firmness is discussed, I've also seen that confirmed many times from Rennlisters. I was curious if you have played with those settings and still find the GT3 softer or more manageable on the streets

I had the new gt3 for 1.5 years & 6k miles. It was time for a change and the RS is an amazing car. I suggest you take the RS and then trade back to a 992.2 gt3 if you miss the old one. I am at 2.5k miles and enjoy the RS a lot but it’s going in Nov and I am back In a manual that’s being built.
win - win either way for you !
