Over the weekend on our local mountain roads a bike went down and hit a on coming car head on and the bike burst into flames very near where the rider was unconscious. We used my GT3 fire extinguisher to put the bike out, id like to replace it. Am I missing something or are these things really around 1k? Any cross reference to a cheaper version or anything?

Try OEM Extinguishers in Texas to just purchase the bottle. I think it around $300 some thing.

@OEMExtinguishers sells them. That is where I got mine from. The dealer wouldn’t even sell it, they couldn’t get them in stock. Something about shipping them, dangerous goods.

Nice job! Definitely good idea to refill rather than to try to buy a new OEM one (big hassle).
