Figured I share some info for other models here too. Why not? Some don't care and that's fine, but I find it interesting.
I would love to know that I have the only lava orange touring for example.
That being said my access window might be closing so I'm not sure if I can get another update any time soon.
That's why I haven't waited until end of production.

Would be nice if Porsche would just publish more production info. But it's obviously not part of their marketing strategy of perceived scarcity.
A paint to sample list would be really cool but that information is pretty much impossible to come by.
Anyway just my 2 cents.
You know why....most of the people that bought non-numbered GT cars want to think they are some rare birds. Wrong, there are THOUSANDS of them just in the US. I'm sure I speak for many others on here, your work on pulling together production numbers is greatly appreciated.

Don't let these keyboard warrior touring owners bother you, they probably show up in new balance shoes to PCA cars & coffee meets to talk about how "rare" their touring is that barely has any miles on it. You're doing a big service to us by providing these numbers because Porsche refuses to do it. I see huge value in it for both the 4RS and 992 GT3's to truly have "real" data and not marketing BS.

i appreciate the data for sure. the gt3t may not be 'rare' but it is a lesser produced trim than the others given current na data. i read somewhere that gt3rs 992.1 na production target is 5,000 total units. if that's right and we end up at maybe ~4,000 gt3 winged units and ~2,000 gt3t units for 992.1 then it does seem more of a limited production trim. not that it means anything except maybe to the owner. it's not an s/t.

you haven't heard? new balance are trending lol. caused by various models, celebrities, etc. i don't follow trends but it's weird when your 21 and 17 yr old daughters ask for a pair to wear with bell bottom jeans. idk, i'm old and don't care what i wear but do care what im driving. lol.

I feel like that target number has to be a bit high for 3 RS. Not saying it’s not their target but given how slow production has been and the number of delays seems like that is going to be difficult to accomplish.

Globally maaaybe 3-4k... in the US. Maybe 1500-2000. They can barely build them.

The oddity is its not fully unfathomable the PTS #s for the 3RS will be less than the ST globally. If not, very close.

US typically gets around 30% of cars built so if 2,000 make it to the US that means that there have been 6,000 built globally.

It's +-740 for NA, globally therefore somewhere around 1900.

To avoid confusion I stated figures for 991.2 GT3 Touring as that was what I believed was discussed.

Go drive your car and stop worrying about how many are made. The ones in here who care about production volume have the lowest mileage on their car

Why do some people care so much about what other people have, instead of just being grateful for what they are blessed with.
who cares how many gt3 / tourings are produced. If you have one enjoy it, if you don’t just know it’s worth having.
end of story.

There are billions of people in the world who will never experience a gt3, and I’m sure they have more important things to be concerned with.
go drive your car and be happy.

i'll only speak for myself. for me, i'll drive it as soon as the car is delivered in august. lol. and im driving my 992.1 tts like crazy. 6,000 fun miles in less than a year of being new. this is a forum, right? where we discuss things about the cars. im personally not thinking it's rare but i do think limited production runs are cool. that only matters to me for the touring but it's an interesting topic about the car, at least for me. if we can't have discussions that are on topic to the post then wtf is a forum useful for. thanks.

Because those people are buying (specifically GT cars in this case) that are beyond their comfort level.

Rare, not rare... remember this... Porsche has made a ton of 992's and its been bonkers for 3 solid years. People are still paying 50-125k OVER msrp at the tail end of the run. What other car in history has this happened to ? I cannot even think of a car.

Moral of the story is this. If you are lucky enough to own one of these cars you should drive it. I am ! The values of these cars will remain for a long time whether you drive it or not. The .2 WILL be considerably more expensive and that alone carries everything previous.

That’s one reason at least. Probably why so many low mileage cars are being offered for sale as well.
