No not the case sweet cheeks. He made a statement previously that there were more 991 Tourings than 992 Tourings which I believe is in correct. I am not concerned with value of the 2 cars. He also was the one that got spicy and emotional in his previous posts.

You are funny. Nothing emotional about the facts. I don’t take anything on forums that seriously and I was never talking about values. I was merely pointing out that there are more 992 Tourings (whether PDK or manual) than 991’s. Enjoy your car as I will mine.

Sorry bud, but based on your post history it seems all you are concerned about is value.

Not really. I do like to see that the cars are at least retaining their value. If I was really concerned about value perhaps I would have kept my 992 Touring that I built. I didn’t sell it with values in mind, I sold it because of my personal preference. Or maybe you are right. But you are using the word value incorrectly. To me value is the enjoyment I get from owning and driving my car. And if it is worth at least what I paid for it or even in the ballpark that is just a side bonus. If value was such a concern why would I have sold my ‘19 RS and bought a Touring? I did so because I wanted a manual despite the possibility that an RS would be worth more in the long run. I buy cars for my enjoyment period.
I do like watching the online auctions for entertainment purposes, but I do not take them to heart. I have owned 911’s for 40 years including a 2008 GT3 that I bought new and had for over 8 years. Back then people didn’t discuss values, They discussed the cars themselves.
And if my posts come off like I am concerned about value that’s not my intention. My posts are meant to reflect my passion for my car and Porsche in general.

I lost all easy access to the colors today.
But I think I'll still be able to post the total # of GT3 made at the end of production.
My final update will be when they are finished making them.
Very nice break down. What is your source if you don't mind me asking.

Pretty funny watching the touring owners trying to discredit the production numbers so they can seem like they have a rarer car. They made 1600 so far just for North America and production isn't even officially over, get over it. If you want a rare car then go buy a numbered Porsche, any none numbered Porsche will not be rare/low production.

They’re definitely not that rare in the UK, I missed two in a 3 week window at my relatively small dealer and bought the third they were working on purchasing from the first owner.

Still paid just over list which I may live to regret😉

only posting about rarity, prod numbers and values while stating you are not concerned with rarity, prod numbers, values.... that's RICH!

im expecting a gt3t and don't think they are 'rare' but i've read in many places that within the gt3* line, gt3t's are considered limited production. again, within just the gt3* line. just what i've read. so do people agree that gt3t's are 'a limited production model' within gt3* or not?

from what i've read, data is legit. person has access to a porsche api (application programming interface). likely makes a call to the api which then returns the data posted in the api request. may not be a public api that anyone can call so likely some internal access usually part of employment or being a partner of some sort to porsche.

Yes, I am vain. Fun to know where your car sits in the NA production picture. Doesn’t change my perception of value or desire to buy/sell. This isn’t a numbered car but still has scarcity value (apparent in adm) and these numbers highlight why that’s the case.

That’s not true at all. I have always expressed my thoughts as to what I prefer regardless of value. Yes I do comment on those items when someone else such as you post things that are not true.

I’ve seen a few Albert Blue Tourings. The winged Light Ivory might be 1 of 1.

Let’s see if these two sell within $20k of eachother.
A cool $78k over msrp for the Albert...

lol...why would I make this up.

I started to look for a way to get production numbers because of all the folks on the GT4RS board claiming insider knowledge about how rare the car will be.
They were telling people at the time that Porsche will only make 500...
Figured I share some info for other models here too. Why not? Some don't care and that's fine, but I find it interesting.
I would love to know that I have the only lava orange touring for example.
That being said my access window might be closing so I'm not sure if I can get another update any time soon.
That's why I haven't waited until end of production.

Would be nice if Porsche would just publish more production info. But it's obviously not part of their marketing strategy of perceived scarcity.
A paint to sample list would be really cool but that information is pretty much impossible to come by.
Anyway just my 2 cents.
