Porsche dealers really taking advantage with the ADMs as the GT cars are more plentiful than any other 911 model for the period.......just like the 991.2......great time to be a dealer for Porsche........great information

I'm sure they aren't telling people how the .2GT3 will be a hybrid to juice things up either and create a little FOMO.

Surprised the numbers are under what is projected to be built for the 992.2. I assume the .2 will have one less year of production, but will have a higher production of 5600.

I lost all easy access to the colors today.
But I think I'll still be able to post the total # of GT3 made at the end of production.
My final update will be when they are finished making them.

Thank you so much for posting these numbers.
The ratio of GT3 to GT3 Touring has changed to almost 2:1, I believe it was more like 3:1 for 991.2.

How does one decipher a wing vin vs touring vin? The vin sequence is the same for both so the details showing which one it is must be hidden within each vin.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. Individual PTS production numbers would be cool. Still nice to have 1 of 482 PTS touring. Manuals are probably 50% or more of those. Just nice to know. Doesn’t change my perspective of value (hoping not to turn this into too much of a value thread).

So a PTS Winged GT3 is more rare than a PTS Touring?

Interesting that 992 Touring production numbers are at least double the production for 991 Tourings as of now. And according to the post they are still making them. I have always said that there were many more made based on what I have personally seen. Not to mention there will be a 992.2 version made.

Just like the 991.2 Touring numbers that don’t include RS vins. These numbers are being produced by an RL user. You would need to go into every single vin to confirm whether or not the car is winged or touring & that’s just us taking a random RL users word for it. That goes for both 992 & 991.2 spreadsheets.

That said, my PTS 991.2 touring was produced within a 2 model year window & my 992 touring was produced within a 3 model year window. So I assume an extra model year would calculate to more cars being built. That just makes sense.

I’ve talked with @Spyder718 & I believe he is being honest about his numbers. Even though he could easily skim some numbers off the top or state there are more Tourings than there really are. No one else has put in the time to do the work.

The projections from Porsches internal documents have been the closest thing I’ve seen to real proof. The projection for 992.2 is 5600 units with one less model year. So Porsche is doing what we already expected, & that’s increasing production with every new generation.

not interesting to me. The 992 is such a better car to drive. We are 3 years into production and ADM is still $50k+… that was not the case with 991.2. (And that’s with a huge MSRP increase since 2022.) there’s a ton of demand.

The 991.2 is a great car and owners have benefitted immensely by Porsche continue to increase MSRP of 992… currently, a base 2024 GT3 is $40k+ more than a base 2019 GT3 MSRP for example.

Porsche also made the 992 touring a bit more unique with it being a separate allocation, styling tweaks, textured dash leather and availability of EM leather vs. just a wing delete package.
