Magic eraser with spray cleaner, gets the job done too.

No matter how much I cleaned the glass.. a few days later I could see this old factory tape mark reappear. The magic eraser did the trick.

What I find that works the best is Gyeon Prep. Spray on the glass and it cuts through the oil, grease, film and fog. The glass stays clean.

Appreciate the feedback here!! I have a ‘23 GT3 with all the issues mentioned above and super frustrated the tape lines and fog kept returning. Is this a nod towards lower quality interior bits that create off gassing? Never had issues in 991.2 and older models

Its a pain in the ***. Did the Rain-X defog treatment and it still comes back. Still see the tape line and I have to wipe the whole windshield before I drive. I give up lol.

It lessened over time for me, and now after 10 months it’s no longer happening.

First world problems.

You can always do a 50/50 solution of water and isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol for $4.00

I've been using this for 1-2 months now, but the fog / grease returns after 1-2 weeks. Very frustrating, especially given how annoying it is to clean the interior (compared to exterior for example). Very curious if anyone has more permanent success stories.

Are you guys getting the haze with tinted windshields? I've only noticed the haze with my cars without windshield tint.

This will be my next step.
The 50/50 mix didn't work.

I was about to mention the same as what Aperture wrote. Windshield mildly tinted and I have no fog/haze.
