Did you just use the term shame in regards to PAG not making enough cars for you to buy the model you want?

Now I am wondering if Renlisters received more hugs as kids would actually fix this entitlement issue. Might need a team of therapists flown in from Switzerland.

Yes, you can.

You just have to have enough money.

If you (the generic "you" not you specifically) don't have enough money to buy the Porsche you want, then it's a you problem. Not a Porsche problem.

You posted over the weekend that you (personally) dont think that there is any Porsche currently in production worth 200k.
For context, what was the last new Porsche model that you bought and how much did it cost?

You do realize Porsche has to have manufacturing volume limitations, and then there's the global quest to kill ICE cars? And then there's the crazy Covid FOMO tailwind...

Demand isn't created by Porsche (stimulated, yes) it's being created by uncle Joe and other green at all costs leaders. Porsche has to balance what they can produce and manage a portfolio. While annoying, as it fattens up lazy dealers who no longer add value but are protected by other outdate regulations, the market is the market. If they weren't unique and awesome cars we would not have what appears to be a supply side problem (but is really more a demand issue caused by neutering automobiles globally)

There is no incentive for Porsche to try to meet all demand. It is a niche brand and by definition not the people's car - there's a sister company for that!

You can buy some amazing Porsche cars each day everyday for great deals ... you're complaining because the newest halo car(s) isn't one of them does smack of entitlement, sorry.

At some level you guys are just bemoaning marketing and free market capitalism. It may be annoying we all can't get THE TOP dog car for whatever our budget is - but once again, don't hate the player for winning the game. The GT cars arguably (all cars?) are best in their class for performance and they are producing good marketing to maximize shareholder return. Easy way to test that theory - sell all your Porsche vehicles for a while and drive other brands. Observe.
